I actually prepared a new version of this, hoping for some updates of the original. It has not been released.

The new version creates an EasyFlash version much similar to the original (ie the easter egg at startup is available). The new version is also a lot faster on Ultimate64/1541U2 due to poor implementation of the eAPI call to EAPIEraseSector. Also for real hardware users, it is quicker too - and wears the flash less as 256 saves are possible before EAPIEraseSector.

Alternate patching instructions, for if Floating IPS isn't doing it for you, but you're comfortable doing python pip installs:
pip install python-bps # sudo if needed, or use a virtualenv
bps-apply hunters_moon.bin hunters_moon_ef_excess.crt hunters_moon_ef_excess.bps

(worked for me on macOS 10.13)

upped the patcher (win/linux & sources) for convenience, in case the download from the external site becomes impossible
