So...Another two of the team turns out to be old enough to be called as a “mature ones”. And even without a
black sofa setting. Congrats to both of you: You have accomplished to bring this group up to today's
standards and above. I do not know Pål in person but his works with every project he has spend time with is
legendary.. And what comes to Proton: Everyone knows you are a one of the best C64 coders of all the time.
I think Pål gets best out of you so please use him as an asset. I hope both of you have a great half a
decade celebration.

all about. Pål, every single pixel you create is top-notch, and your dedication to the scene is truly

it's amazing! Proton, I don't know where to start. You are so talented in everything you do, a true multi

Hey hey it is now Miy. My friends, you have come to a mystical age of 50 so I will tell you some words of
wisdom and I reveal you a secret nobody have told you earlier. Proton and Pål, are you ready to hear these
facts? Here they some.
FIRST of all: Everybody that tells that age is just a number, that's bullshit. Those slogans are from
every single person that are under 50 and way more younger than you.
SECOND: 50 is the age where you have recognized a long time a go, that parties are always the better the
earlier they start... and that way provides a chance to get long and good sleeping time. And if possible,
in a real bed.
THIRD: The amound of drinks, food or whatever you take to LAN/copy/demo party is not relevant, as long it
is good quality and when possible, you do not make it yourself, where restaurant is the answer.
FOURTH: You sadly have started or you will in a given day start to compare medicines with your friends
related to blood pressure.
FIFTH: You have not traveled for a looong time and you never will any more travel anywhere without booking
everything forehand.
SIXTH: You will everyday have less and less short time friends you never meet again in a way or an on
other. Then again, you are not even interested to have and meet so many strangers. Long time friends you
can count on, become more and more important.
SEVENTH: More complicated the issue is, more simple solutions appears.
EIGHTH: You don't know yet the true facts which are coming in the next five years when turning 55.
NINTH: You start to wonder the coming facts within a year or two, not for in next five years.
TENTH: You have a proven, respected and admitted positon in the C64/Amiga scene. You have and you always
will have long time familiar scene friends anywhere you go. You will be greeted, are we will appreciate
you. So by all means and by from whole of my heart - I wish you all the best and happy 50+ years and once

Proton, we first met at Byterapers copyparty 1988 in Iisalmi. You walked the earth under the name SCS back
then - SCS meaning SJL Cracking Service which is kinda fun as I think you never cracked one single game. :)
But hey, that was the fashion then! But while not cracking, your coding abilities sure have made an impact.
Maybe not in the beginning but oh boy where you stand today with all your skills. A top coder keeping up
the meritious Finnish coding tradition! Thank you for all your effort in the scene, a legacy that is here
to stay.
Pål, aka Rooster/ Warriors of Time - that's a name I remember from 1990. I have always admired your
dedication to the scene and most of all how you managed to put Offence into the headlines again in 2010
with all those most awesome guys around you. Making “Another Beginning” sure was hence the name. After all
those silent years, it needs a certain type of guy to get people back again and you sure knew how to do
that. And all your talent, wow! Hardly ever have we witnessed such ferocious amount of quality pixels you
have produced for our delight - you must have the strongest forefinger in the scene. Let me stop by saying
every one of us should have a little bit of Pål inside and the world would be just perfect. Stay healthy my
man and let's meet soon again.
