Text:In an Austrian state, far, far in the south of the galaxy the air is thick with the scent of solder and nostalgia. The last brave Retro Rebels gather at the Vintage Computing Carinthia Meeting! Dust off your Amstrad CPCs, boot up those Amigas, and power up the C64s, for the time has come to take a hyperspace jump into the past!

Join us today in Villach at the Bunker on Saturday, May the 4th, 2024 for VCC $28, our 40th gathering. Let's have the Commodore Empire strike back.

Logiker, the mastermind behind our gatherings, balances the chaos of creativity with a Jedi knight’s discipline. Wil, the crazy coding droid, churns out lines of code at a pace that would make even R2-D2 dizzy. DevilLord, the coding Sith Lord and hardware expert, commands the flow of bits with an iron fist. Reparaturgeist, the Toydarian junk dealer who possesses an uncanny knack for tinkering, fixing, and repairing any hardware that crosses his path. Dr. Terra, logo graphician and Commodore master. Geri, our steadfast member, ensures our Amiga love spreads to every corner of the galaxy. Jowin cracks open a Sprite with his Qt lightsaber. L[we leads us through the realms of retro computing with seasoned expertise. ComSha, a versatile artist, crafts stories about our adventures. Neyvivi, skilled on pixels, still a padawan but possessing already many titles. Pararaum, a coding Jedi with a knack for unraveling the mysteries of ancient software. Darklord79at, the enigmatic organizer and coding master. EiSa, a coding Jedi and hardware guru. Flexman, who takes care of the Cantina Troop Garrison. Panther, whose outrageous creations transcend more than three decades of time. Nwbzpwnr, a young padawan, masters coding across multiple languages and systems. Ipok, the virtuoso sprite drawing artist, whose creations dance with life and color. Freeze, of the noble clan of Blazonians, revered for his mastery of both hardware and software, this is the way. And Razy, a musician whose beats reverberate through time and space, echoing in the hearts of all retro enthusiasts, sets the rhythm of our adventures.

May the Force be with Abyss Connection, Atlantis, Blazon, Classic Videogames Radio, Commodore Treffen Graz, Cosmos Designs, CPC User Club, Delysid, Digital Talk Team, Excess, Quantum, Trex, Fairlight, Haujobb, Hokuto Force, John Saint, Nodepond, Padua, Potendo, Rabenauge, Rebels, The Solution, Triad, Coyhot, Gloegg, Harekiet, Jasmin68k, Joe, Phiwa, Sentinel, Sissim, Wizball6502, XXX, Gorgh, and all others.

Together, we dive into the depths of retro programming, hardware hacking, and gaming nostalgia. From battling bugs to sharing the latest retro news, there's something for every rebel in our ranks. So grab your blasters (joysticks), fire up your ships (computers), and join us for a day filled with fun, friendship, and the quest for high scores.
