| Text: | bad bugs, bad bugs, whatcha gonna do? whatcha gonna do when they come for you? run!!! run or they will hunt you down and drag you into public! - it's funny that this little intro was just finished short before one of our cracks was marked on csdb to have a trainer-bug. so i could not resist to release this one solely as a little humorous reply to that. in the end it's all about having fun with our retro-hobby! fun aside this intro was initially created to use the tree logo freeze made for the c64gfx.com charset logo competition 2024. the idea to add a bug-scroll was inspired by a famous pc 64k intro called "bugtro" by the group "mostly harmless" from 2005. first it should have been an ant highway but an ant with 8 legs does not work well in an 8*8 char grid, so they became bugs and got some different colours through extended-color-mode (ecm). for me it looks nice and cadavers music also fits nicely and - the most important thing - it was fun to create it! so cumulated credits are: logo by freeze/blazon, music by cadaver/covert bitops, charset from a game called "lords of midnight" and finally idea, code and text by sleeper/blazon! have fun and enjoy life... sleeper/blazon on may 21, 2024! text restarts... |
