Text: | In a dimly lit living room with flickering candles & papel picado, a gang of amigos gathered for a halloween night. Their laughter echoing against the walls... they huddled around a commodore 64, ready to play a spooky game they had just discovered: The infernal calaca murder by death quest... as they loaded it up, the screen flickered to life... but... they had to adjust the head alignment of the datassette & try it again... ten minutes later of a tremendously agonizing wait with absolute terror & more beer, the screen finally revealing a pixelated calaca dancing among sugar skulls... but suddenly... a sinister glitch transformed the game & from the screen emerged a white calaca ghost shinning in brillant colors reminiscent of 80s arcade shitty sprites games of the commodore 64. with a mischievous grin, the calaca ghost invited them to join a digital dia de los muertos celebration, promising to guide them through a pixelated world where they could reclaim the memories of their ancestors... wich they didn't have commodore 64 'cause they hadn't been invented yet... but... as they ventured deeper into the game, the line between reality & afterlife blurred away, maybe was the dubbies effects... but... the friends soon realized that some spirits were meant to dance, even on halloween night, just like you... with the witching Codeblasters hour & Creepy dj space crawly demon... greetings to: spooky PVM soiree / Hokuto eerie extravaganza force / Brian's de Marquis b. missed / Coronel Mencho ebony enchanter / Jan bone a-ppetit-e & Durandal Lecter carnival lunch... |
