Text from The Dir-Master V6.1B (without disk-monitor)

Description:List of improvements
Text:This is now the second 6.1-Version because there were some bugs in the first one. I’ve also made now two different versions. The V6.1A contains all new functions. In V6.1B I’ve removed the very huge disk-monitor. I have done this, because there are a lot of users who don’t need a diskmon, and if you only want to change a little bit in a dir, it’s faster to load version B.

But now let’s begin with the list of improvements (V6.0):
- If you clear the stamp, the header of the dir wouldn’t be erased.
- You can clear the separators.
- There are now 24 separators.
- You can go to the last entry.
- The input-routine was a bit improved (check reverse chars).
- When you are editing a filename you can also use cursor up/down and shift+return (fullscreenediting).
- There are three buffers:
- One for the stamp and dir, which is load-, save- and swapable.
- One for the separators, which is also load- save- and swapable.
- One for the header, which is load-, save- and swapable.
- You can edit the hidden bam-message on track 18 sector 0 in ASCII- or screencode.
- You can enter a genius disk-monitor (the track/sector of the actual filename will be the prefix) (use h to swap the helppages)
- You can search for hidden files on the disk (after softformat etc.). If you use this option without any dir in the memory, it will show all files on disk. With a dir in the memory, it will only show the files, which aren’t used in the dir.
- You can inverse all protections.
- Protections are available in all editors.
- You can choose the scratching-star in front of the filetype (f.e.: *DEL).
- There is a format again option.
- You can (un)expand the whole directory.
- You can put the actual separators as a mask over a filename, for example:
Separator: " /MASK"
Filename: "PROGRAM "
After masking: "PROGRAM /MASK"
- There is a new validate-routine which counts the blocks of every file. It is also fast. (hard-reset your drive before using this, if you used a fast-loader to load Dir-Master)
- You can load or save the dir, the separators and the stamp from/to disk.
- Some small bugs are removed.

That was was the list for the Version 6.0. Now you get what's new in Version 6.1:
- All cursor keys are available in the bam-message editor.
- While editing anything, you are able to clear the whole entry.
- Some more bugs are removed (I hope, there weren’t any bugs left).
