Release id #113176 : Little Sara Sister 2 (16KB Cartridge Version)
>As much as i enjoy platform jump and runs like this one, one question remains in my head. Why not go all the way with own gfx ideas like you show in the later levels but simply copy from the probably most known jump and run on C64?
This is just because of the origin.
LSS was a 4KB games with the goal to reproduce in some way The Great Giana Sister kind of game with similar graphics but in essentially no space to use.
LSS2 is the evolution of that core engine (more powerfull, than need a complete program in Java for level design) and that fill in 8KB with LSS1.5.
Unfortunately the game stay silent from 2004/2006 until two years ago, when I decide that Dustibin tunes must be released and so the game need to be finished.
I so start to rewrite graphics in the way you see in the last two levels.
However for using it like in the other levels, the engine need to be changed a lot, so I take the work already done with pervious graphics and let the two final levels to be a specials ending of LSS2 :)
Without this the game cannot be finished as the last two level require 2 years of time to create that kind of graphics.
However I have already in mind a new kind of graphics for maybe, LSS 3, with a different playing inside... but I need to test if it can be reached with the C64 graphical power...
