Forever 14 - realtime compo theme! Read on!
Dear sceners, everyone has known it for years almost everyone is afraid to say it out loud. Everyone but us! We dont beat around George Bush, Jr. We have acknowledged the truth as a matter of fact at the partys pages and we will shout it from the stagetops: Elvis is alive!!!
However, even to us, little is known about Elviss current shelter. And thats where you come into play - pretty pretty pretty please, with yummy rocknroll on top, help us find out!
The theme for the real time compo of Forever 14: Elvis Lives! is "Further adventures of Elvis after his demise from the pop scene, the truth about his alleged discovery of the fountain of youth, connection with extra-terrestrial life and the other secrets surrounding the one and only King of RocknRoll and 8-bit partying, finally revealing one of the greatest mysteries of our time and space, or in other words:
Where the hell-on-wheels is Elvis?
You have about 24 hours to create your entry. Send your compo entries to your to: xi/napri.sk (atari) creamd/c64.sk (c64) and mikezt/zeroteam.sk (speccy).
Deadline for online entries: Saturday, March 16. - 12:00

...me not starting cover compo #2 voting and ignoring the scene for month would be a good excuse for not participating in this one that is just co-organized by me (c64 section)?
F14 was unavoidable for me so I had to do it.. Wotnau is in Kuwait.. JTR has also a very good reason not to go to this year's Forever. This or that, F14 is more or less ignored by major part of C64 scene for 14 years anyway... (for reasons like being 2-3-4 weeks before major german party, and also for the fact that there is quite a lot of other cool C64 only parties around anyway) I don't care if it gets ignnored more.., less or... Forever ;-). I'm more or less dead scener anyway.. I wonder why I still zombiewalk around.. probably beacause of not being able to kick the bucket with style...

Ah and yeah. One more important thing to add. In separate post. I'm having solid organizing and c64 supporting history behind me.. so if anyone wants to blame me for being like this... feel free. I need to find the ball.. I lost it somewhere in the real world, and it's quite hard to find again... |

The Singular crew can't visit Forever this year unfortunately ;( It was planned that 6 of us will take the trip by car, but due to the weather conditions we cancelled it today. |

Hi Soci. I have seen the traffic/weather maps. The situation is really ugly on south part of Slovakia. This years forever is a bit cursed. A lot of people couldn't come. Even Wotnau (the MC) and JTR. I am a bit alone as single C64 orga here ;-) |
