Song lyrics: https://www.metrolyrics.com/whats-up-lyrics-4-non-blondes.html
Basic rules
0. As title of compo says. It's compo of remix and covers - any creative approach to the original material.
1. Max 1 tune per musician. Other attempts will go to "released outside compo section" you decide which one. If you make another tune. You can replace previous entry by new tune. You can't undo this later.
2. Results will be based on CSDB votes. Voting will be closed on 30.11.2019 23.59.
3. Silent and GFX entries not allowed. We know that some of you might call that an improvement over the original song, but no. You can't do that.

Apology accepted. I understand that after 10 years hiatus in compo organizing, sudden activity might look suspicious, especially with such a crazy idea and compo picture ;-) |

I’m quite happy that this compo exists, but... why? Is there a joke that I’m allowed to be in on, or will I just have to settle for the basic fact that the idea of a bunch of ‘What’s Up?’ covers/remixes appearing on CSDb = funny and weird? |

Mibri: It seems it's a CreaMD, Carsten Berggreen, Randall and Wacek-humour-thing that started on Facebook. I agree that it makes little sense when you are outside the initial Youtube-links and laughs, but hey: more sid:s to the people, even if I prefer original compositions, or covers of greater songs. ;) |

There is a fair chance for impressive tunes. There is a lot of skilled and playfully crazy musicians around. Also, making new material of old material is part of creative process. |

Didn't think about it, but yes I think it still fits into the cover/remix category. If anyone objects, raise the hand. |

Depends on how you handle them. If they are delicate. No problem, but if there is smell of low freq all over the place and speakers cry from pain, you should rather stick to pure analog. |

Ah, it's possible that I underestimated the seriousness of the compo; my effort is a bit on the silly, gnarly side... I might stay out of this one and just be a spectator instead so that I don't cheapen it! :D |
