if none has a better way to handle the donation than Steppe, I'd go for his proposal. Just one thing is missing in my opinion: a deadline, after which the envelope will be handled. Of course money could be sent afterwards, but if they are given all together I think it's nicer.

Yes, I thought about setting a deadline. But for the time being, there is none. Given the fact a funeral is announced a couple of days in advance it's still possible it's held the next weekend. Anyway, if you tell me the amount of money you sent and it's not on my bank account the day of the funeral, don't worry, I'll just pretend it is and of course hand out the full sum (even if the money hasn't arrived by then). You trust me here, so I will trust you as well. |

Shocking news... I only had a chance to talk to him personally at X2010, but personally to me he was a fun and lighthearted guy... didn't see this coming.
Rest in peace, wherever you are now, and my condolances to his family and friends. I wish you all the strength in the coming time.

Hi Guys,
in order to shorten up the discussion about donation bank accounts or not. We can simply use my bank account and I will make a list of everybody who donated and how much, withdraw the money from the bank account and give it to Armans parents.
I think it's the easiest way, what do you think about it?
