UNESCO - Sweden

Congratz.
Additionally, I urge (some) people to open up and check the "Historik:" tab on the linked page. Perhaps it helps clear some things up for them. |

Congrats to Sweden, joining the club, which already has Finland, Germany, Poland and The Netherlands.
And, contrary to some cynical views, this actually helps with some things, organizing parties and publishing books about the demoscene for example ;) There is absolutely nothing negative that I can imagine coming from this, so let's enjoy it! ;) |

Shame on literally EVERY demoscene research for not complying with Krill’s wishes. |

Quoting KrillExcept more citogenesis of "cracking scene -> demoscene". =)
I could come with some more examples, but i don't feel like writing elaborates on something such innocent compared to other piles of idiocy growing rapidly in the world right now.
Leave the scene for sceners. UNESCO go fuck yourself! |

Quoting 4gentE OPS Sure, sure.
But let me repeat it here for the (broken) record, again, since you opted to attack twice in a row. =)
The early scene was just The scene, which did everything, then split up at some point.
Claiming the early scene was the cracking scene (and only that) is wrong, imho.
Also i'm pretty sure i'm not alone with that stance, and this place here is called what it is for a reason. |

This "crack intros turned into demos" is just too much of a nice narrative to drop it. Just let it go. Who cares :) |

@Krill:
Cool. I love you man. Thank you for another “fancy word of the day”. Today it’s “citogenesis”. The OPS steps got tumbled a bit, tho. Now, I’m waiting for the execution of OPS pseudocode line 80. I sense a shy call to aid, a dogwhistle if you don’t mind me using a fancy word myself. We could open a bet on who comes to serve line 80.
And whaadya know. Someone already beat me to it. |
