new credit needed

just wondering if people think we should have a new credit title added which should be INTRO

as alot of cracks i have seen someone has been credited with the intro for a crack and you cant add that to a release

You could use Code. I don't think Intro is a good credit type.
Usually you don't credit the coder of the intro when adding a crack, just like you don't credit the person who did the graphics for the game. The main point is who cracked, trained, fixed or imported it.

it would make more sence to add the intro in a seperated entry, and put proper credits there. then again, intros usually dont qualify as a release themselves, so they dont really belong here at all (intros.c64.org anyone?).

I always credit the intro as "loader". Am I mistaken?

I my opinion yes. "Loader" means disk-loader, and is often used to mean "drive code" in general.

Credits for the intro is usually not given. I agree about Groepaz idea of having separate intro entries. IIRC it has been discussed here earlier, but I can't seem to find the thread.

intro should be seperate release type (if not already), its bs to add all introcredits for all cracks... redundancy anyone?

in a perfect world you could link a crack to the intro(s) used.
