Just now found out, Johannes Bjerregaard has died at the age of 52, due to cancer, on November 2. :(

He was an inspiration and he was such a talent at young age.
I never met Johannes personally.
But around 1996, using IRC, I remember I tried if it was possible to reach someone named jozz with a direct message on irc. And yes I got a reply from someone with that nickname.
I told him I was a fan of his C64 music. And he said thanks with a smile. Don't know if it was the correct Jozz. But i believe so.

Vale Johannes. Such a defining sound of the scene back in the day, and by all accounts a lovely man to those who had the pleasure of knowing him in person.
