Thanks alot to Ziphoid/SceneSat for doing such a great X-2012 show.

Thanks to everyone at SceneSat for supporting the scene and doing such great live shows!

Here are some "Cable" Highlights from Ziphoid X-2012 Live show:

Ziphoid talking to IRC: "Magic, It's a cable because they put it there, they need to conect the new cable to the projector and that how it is, you have to life with the cable, according to the organizers thats one thing, if you don't want the cable, come to the party. Thats how it is."

Ziphoid cable slogans Live from X-2012:

"The year of the cable"

"The cable strikes back"

"This is the cable party"

"And the next demo in the cable party compo"

"In a world where the cables rule the earth"

"Just a ordinary cable, but this cable has a mission"

" Welcome to the cable"

" Cables are good, cables are bad.

"In the last hours, the most used word, must be CABLE"

"Where are all the cables goooone?"

"The CABLE PARTY this is X"

" It will still feature the cable"

"What you people say so fare? Has the cable done good?"

"The cable still ruuuules..."

I wrote this down from the file downloaded at SceneSat: Ziphoid_-_X2012_weekend_part_2_-_20121027.mp3

This really did entertain me during watching the Live Show from X-2012, even there was breaks, Ziphoid did know how to entertain the people.

Seems the cleaning company took care of the lost'n'found in the end unfortunately.

This party started out a bit slowly for me (what's up with just the buzz of people talking on friday? I was missing the puming SID action in the party hall :D). Had a long day, very short on sleep.

But on saturday, you guys cranked up the tempo! Awesome. Great vibe, good feel, the salmiakki helped too, plenty of smokers. And the competitions....... hotdarn!! That was awesome!

Till next time :D

At almost every X-demo-competition I have been, I´ve been thinking: ´ok, this is the max for our c64, there won´t be anything more impressive from now on´...

And every ´X´ I´m proven wrong. Amazing demo´s, you guys!!!!!!!! Hitmen and Oxyron... Fairlight, Censor and Offence... Throw in a comeback of Abnormal and all other participants... And what you have is a long, but oh-so-entertaining night of demo´s. Really makes me proud of still being part of the 64-scene... (to a bigger or lesser extend!!)

And what an amazing works of art in the graphics-competition! Though I used to enjoy the graphics competitions more when I wasn´t wondering about whether or not things are converted... That is not to say you don´t need any skills for making a 64-piccy nowadays!! As a GFX´er myself, I would like to mention Duce´s picture... Absolutly Loved it!! Also Electric was good. And PAL ofcourse. And the rest also!! ;-)

Last but not least, the SID´s were also of high quality. Still unbelievable what you can extract from a SID-chip with 3 voices... Some people have 25 synths, ProTools and a shitload of FX and still they can´t beat what these SID-guys accomplish.

All in all, a great party with great people who share the compassion for a great 8-bit machine!! Loved it from the start (and I was there VERY early:), right till the end.

Thanks all of you 64-lovers and see you all in 2 years!!!

Great party. Loved every second of it! Thanks to all the cool people I talked to.
And a very special thanks to all the people that spent their hard-earned cash in my 'shop'. It will be going to a good cause.
To the orgaz: I once again take my hat off for you!
Hope to see all of you (and more) in two years.

Angel Of Death, if you'd brought more M-sized shirts, I would have spent some cash too. ;-) Cool shirts!

Great X as usual!

A few questions that I'm wondering about...

What was the reason for ComaLight 13 to be listed as Another Demo/??? on the voting disks?

Has the composer of Luder8580 been identified? I liked the tune a lot, as well as the title, which sounds like something Jeff could have come up with, but he denies it was him. :)

What hell of a party. Has been really fun to meet all the guys I already knew and to meet some new people.

We have tons of incredible releases in all categorie and what really amazes me is that there is no single entry that really sucks that much that I never want to see it again. In this amount I'd expect at least one entry like converted fotograph of somebodies ass :-)

So nice to see that massive amount of love and passion for the C64. This scene is bestest of 'em all!!! =)
