LVLLVL tribute / appreciation demo
Hiya - so long story short - James who is the coder of LVLLVL (char / text art editor / sid / animation studio / online c64 emulator / everything else) had a brain seizure in late Dec and has been in hospital ever since.
Brain surgery and now has chemo / radiotherapy and rehabilitation for quite a long time.
I have initiated a multi-part demo of parts made exclusively in LVLLVL - can be petscii / custom char sets - only rule is that it needs to be under 45k (including sid) per part / prg and use only one background colour I believe. The idea of the demo is to surprise James in hospital since he is obviously in a terrible situation - loss of use of one side of his body etc.
editor is here:
https://lvllvl.com/
online c64 emu is here:
https://lvllvl.com/c64/
The concept is art / anims etc. of hope and cheerful things - no hot dogs or boobies of course!
Would love to cram as much as possible into this demo!
Best way to submit any parts would be via tim@jojati.com
Thanks!

Hey, I don't know either of you but I appreciate the effort. It's a nice initiative. I hope you get some cool parts! |

Thanks for letting us know Ray – and sorry to hear!
I know LVLLVL and it has amazing capabilities. Only used it to modify some chars so far. Might try to make something for him – great initiative! |

I am far from a petscii artist, but I made the two screens for the Onslaught On Tour, and wouldn't have made it without lvllvl, so I really appreciate his work and would like to say thank you. |
