DOS "IJ"
from another forum, in the C128 make a boot sector program they do this
1020 REM BY FRED BOWEN & TERRY RYAN
1030 REM
1040 OPEN15,8,15,"IJ"
Now I can't find anything that documents about IJ. I makes sense as you 100% want to intilisze the disk and make sure sure, but the J makes no sense. Anybody know why the J? |

I only know of UJ to reset the drive. |

It's a typo probably.
Initialize (and most of the commands) doesn't care about anything else than 0/1, so the J in the command is just ignored.
1571 SETANY is based on the same library as 1541 and defaults the drive number to 0 when not specified exactly. |

I concur. Was probably "UJ" before and later on changed to "IJ".
