1. Remote submissions are allowed, please forward them to opencompo(at)gmail(dot)com.

3. In case of any specific hardware requirements for your entry, please consult us beforehand.
4. The entries will be shown in random order, not categorized.

Yes, the pictures are cute, funny, and made me laugh very hard, especially the washing machine.
Now, please delete them, since they have no place on this database. Sorry :) Post em on facebook or something. |

Celtic, I will be THE LAST ONE to start ANY DRAMA about those pictures :)
This is apparently your database, not a common property, that's your call, if you decide this is outside of the rules, go ahead and delete it. I couldn't care less, it's not like uploading those took me 5 days :)
Understand my viewpoint, I feel my obligation as an organizer to share those things with the public as part of the scene spirit, also if it made you laugh then it made it worth to upload them, even if they are here only for 1 hour. What happens next - who fucking cares ;)
Hell, in a way it makes me think that once again we are a little bit too out-of-the-box, how can it make one feel, other than satisfied? :) Isn't going outside of the box what the scene should be all about? :) |

Well, let em stay on for day or so and then delete yoursself please, they are indeed funny, and i hope everyone enjoys them, i sure did.. But they are no releases and i am glad you understand that.
Perhaps post them in the comments or trivia section of the event, would be sad to see them lost.
looks like like you guys had great fun. |

Just to be clear about one thing, because I see via Carrion example this is not understood correctly.
Those pictures were taken at the party and SHOWN (=RELEASED) during the compo as entries. Those are not spoofs placed here as "fake" releases after the party. They were also voted down together with binary releases, that's why they are placed as part of the compo. For example, "666" by JSL received 58 vote points, "I am not fucking disc stealer" picture 47 vote points. |

actually, and this is not a joke, we could start a website for polish demoscene. upgrading c64scene.pl to be more than a forum could be a good start. latest discussions here showed that there a need for more that just a database. in times of web 2.0 community site for demoscene could be a good thing?
what you think?
