Release id #132128 : Relaunch64 V3.3

Relaunch64 V3.3 has just been released!

Detailed Information and manual:
http://www.c64-wiki.com/index.php/Relaunch64

New features
-----------

*** Code navigation
jump back and forth between label source and label definition (see menu navigation)
re-mapped menu-shortcut for "Jump to label" command, which was also renamed to "Jump to label-definition"

*** Editor
added find-by-typing option for search textfield (can be en-/disabled via preferences)
added feature to convert selection to lower/upper case (see menu edit)

*** GUI
added toolbar with common functions
added sorting-options for sidebar
"Select script" was removed from log-area and moved to the toolbar. if toolbar is hidden, a selection popup appears to select scripts
added close-button to find-/replace-textfield
added more shortcuts to menu-commands

*** various
added preference that hitting enter-key in find-textfield keeps focus in find textfield, so multiple enter will find next searchterm
added preference to not wait for the last process (e.g. emulator run) when running a script (instead, editing is possible immediately after last process is being executed)

Bug fixes
--------
automatic update check did not work - fixed
changing "Other" preferences did not apply immediatley - fixed.
sidebar width changed when refreshing the sidebar-list or creating a new Goto-list - fixed

Feedback, suggestions, requests... is much appreciated!

Enjoy!

have been working with it the last days and i kinda like it. :)

but some issues bug me to some degree:

- START command with kick assembler (+ exomizer fe) doesn't work

- "don't wait when running scripts" option doesn't work and doesn't save so it's always turned off aft

- search should always open with a an empty input field. the usage drives me crazy sometimes.. just check sublimetext how nicely it's handled there..

- breakpoint insertion doesn't work.
a) it inserts the macro in between the code not at the very end.
b) the macro throws some error once it's inserted and code cannot be compiled.

but else, good work! keep it up!

Hi dano,
thanks for your feedback.

@1: Following script works for me, tested with the KickAss 2x2-Scroller example:

java -jar /Users/danielludecke/Dropbox/C64/Tools/KickAssembler/KickAss.jar RSOURCEFILE
/usr/local/bin/exomizer sfx START UNCOMPFILE -o COMPFILE
open /Applications/Vice64/x64.app COMPFILE

At the beginning of the script, comment out the Basic upstart and add a start token (as comment):

//.pc =$0801 "Basic Upstart Program"
//:BasicUpstart($0810)

// start=$0810

@2: It's a bug, fixed in V3.3.1 (see https://github.com/sjPlot/Relaunch64). Perhaps I'm releasing a minor update the next days

@3: "search should always open with a an empty input field. the usage drives me crazy sometimes."

when you re-open the search-field, text is selected automatically, do you just start to type to overwrite it. What's the "crazy driving" handling you mean?

@4: Yes, breakpoints were just an attempt, no real completed feature yet. I'm planning to do this more universal using Vice's label export option, but I have to get more into detail how Vice's debug feature works.

Best
Daniel

I've just downloaded sublime, and I can't see any major differences according to the search field (except Icons, of course). Ctrl+F opens the search field, you type in text, esc-key closes the search field, Ctrl+F re-opens it, with the last search term selected in the text field.

Thanks!! Although i don't have much time at the moment, i keep updating your editor with every release and toy around with it. The save/compile/pack/run script finally works for me although i'am not doing anything different then before. Well, it works perfectly now. Thank you for this awesome piece of software.
