Release id #10038 : Arok 2002 Invitation

What kind of file format is that in this zip file?

Ah, very quirky - and on top of that, 7zip failed to unpack it, but filzip did the job, at last.

I added a d64 for the lazy ones.

It was meant to be unzipped on a C64.

that said, why not delete that zipcode nonsense when you added a d64? :)

It's not zipcode, it's a proper zip file. It was released like that and stays like that. Adding a d64 is fine, but deleting the original is not.

And btw. I still don't forgive that someone messed badly with one of our entries. The entry was locked, the original release download was deleted and another groups crack was misattributed as our release. I don't care who it was, it's not important, but this sort of behaviour is lame. Now guess when it'll be finished, probably not before I forget what happened.

Give some respect for other peoples work.

Thanks.

Soci: Can you tell me what entry it was please? I want to check it out. Is it restored now?

It was this one:

Grubz Preview

I fixed it long ago and the "crack" has it own entry anyway.

Seriously signing all uploaded stuff to prove that it was not tampered with is not the answer either. Normally I expect that what I put up here stays and is not altered silently. It's not all crap after all.

Well. Can't see who did it. Seems like Sweet's Grubz Preview was added at some point (by mistake I presume) but was then deleted. We try our best to clean out people who fuck up the database, so please tell the moderators next time it happens. Have a nice evening! :)

Talking about it, how about continuing this project? It looks so bloody awesome. :-)
Re: zipfile, it is surprising, though, that 7zip cannot handle it - I wonder what caused this problem. Was it zipped on a C64 as well?
Anyway, glad that it was sorted out! It is a nice invitro, btw - was there really only one single release on that party?
