Release id #178526 : Sky Terror
I guess uploader assumes(!) recrack of Dynamic Duo version due to the really retarded and bold use of The Dynamic-Duo International Intro
Now the quest is:
a) Is there a DD crack still missing in the database?
b) Is it a re-crack of crack by another group (not DD)?
c) Is it a normal crack (no re-crack) just using a hacked DD intro? |

Well, the intro pic of the game says The Works. :-)
ut it is actually a very good point, because there are more of those recracks with the hacked DD intro, and it was always assumed thatit would be based on a DD crack. This clearly shows that only the rippedand altered intro was linked in front of any crack.
We have to check those Super-Kater releases again... |

If this is being looked at as a recrack of a Works crack then Works shouldnt be listed as a co-releaser. I dont think it is, IMO.
For it to qualify as a recrack for me it would have to:
1. be obvious that the recracker scrubbed, or attempted to scrub, evidence of the original cracker.
or 2. claim to have cracked it but were dumb enough to leave evidence of the original cracker.
RSK just claims to "present" it, so if we wanted to be charitable we could look at this as an import/spread.
I agree w/ TheRyk that the use of the DD intro is just dumb The Cool Cats-tier nonsense. I'm not saying they're definitely NOT recrackers but it doesnt look like this particular release is. |
