Group id #2073 : Le Squadron Dominant
I was happy to see that there's finally one demo uploaded by this dutch group.
I had a tape full of (rare) demo's including some of LSD but I threw it away during one of my annual housecleaning session (yeah, I still kick myself for throwing it away...).
If some of you have more LSD demo's, please upload them coz those were my introduction to the scene back in the days.

"Le Squadron Dominante" are old favourites of mine aswell. Contrary to many other cases, the LSD demos are somewhat easier to find, and many of them are already transferred. Ofcourse, some titles would be helpful.
And yeah, while we're at it - throwing away old tapes filled with demos ought to be punishable by law. Public whipping or something similar. I've lost some rare items by lending tapes out to mates, but I have never ever thrown any away. Big shame. |

I found another LSD demo on the web and uploaded it to CSDB.
What puzzled me is that LSD is a group formed with other groups (that maybe explains the Squadron...)
For instance, in one of the demo's The Mummy writes "...by The Mummy from TAX for LSD".
Same goes for ABS (By ABS from TMT for LSD).
Weird innit?!

Not so weird if you remember that umbrella groups (like LSD, TLS, or my own Fiction) were all the rage back in 1987 ;) |

This db does really need "Umbrella" support. Far too many such groups. Like Riffs f.e.
I also would like the group as member of group option. As the case of Light of Agile ..
Edit: sorry for not sticking to topic. Will search for LSD stuff when I get home. |

I agree with you, brought this up many many moons ago but Perff didn't feel it was necessary at that time :( |

@iopop: off-topic? nah...that's the way threads go.
Happy hunting!

I upped 6 lsd demos. But I found out that I have alot more. didnt add any credits or release date. Lazy me..
However, this umbrella group is far more widespread then I first thought. Found alot of "../LSD" files which didnt mention LSD in the text at all. But they where included on a disk with only lsd stuff..
Scout: feel free to add credits.. *hint* :) |
