Handle id #2351 : Public Enemy

this is a dupe of Public Enemy (and same for http://noname.c64.org/csdb/scener/?id=10650). before i go and delete it, could someone enlighten me where the "Carsten Herberg" name came from? =D

edit: just saw that the (duped) entry contains membership for "united artists". this confuses me, since when we (curlin, jihad, myself etc) started with c64 stuff, united artists didnt exist anymore (afaik) and we actually used their wellknown demomaker for our first elite releases =) if there was a "public enemy" in UA, it was most definetly a different person. the other info in the duped entry matches with curlins though.

I know nothing of Public Enemy, but it occured to me that sometimes information of sceners with the same handle gets mixed.
This also happened with The Seen Inc. and Seen, for instance.

yeah, but i know for a fact that curlins entry (including all the various handles he used, and everything connected to it like the various groups he joined at the same time) is accurate.

That happens for sure, but thats whats so great when the entries are unlocked and you can do something about it.

Hm, I think there was some other C64 guy from Neuss whose first name was Carsten, but I vaguely remember that. Could been some Rebels member.

Wow.. found this thread totally by accident searching something on google not even related to Carsten or Marcus *lol*

Well, better late than never.. yes, I know Carsten as I was in several groups with him, but seems the difference between the two was already established in the last years.

I did notice several release entries (5 or 6) incorrectly credited to Marcus, so I have removed him from the credits and entered Carsten instead.

I am 100% certain these changes are correct, since I was in several of the same groups and have all those files on my disks from 1991.. oh and grin, one of them is even a release of mine where Carsten's gfx was used :)
