Group id #4764 : Aerotics

Baracuda, I think you shouldn't lock each and every entry that you add. Makes it really tough for the public to add info.
The consensus is to only lock releases that you were directly involved with.

Otherwise the "wiki character" of this site really gets lost.

Dear Steppe,

i don't like the public deleting my entries.
I don't like to add an entry more than once.
I'm sorry but i share my entries if the ones i lock
f.e. CCCC, AEROTICS, SNAP, want to take over.

Look at my own entry done and protected by JTR
until i took mine.

C.C.C.C. is now under control by SIX.

I'm not trying to start an argument here. If you have any close affiliation with the entries you're adding, like groups and releases of groups that are/were your friends or from your town or region, it's not a problem.
And if you intend to lock everything you're adding, at least make sure the release is as complete as possible, with screenshot, download link and credits.

And keep in mind: People won't delete entries if they belong here. If they don't, they can be deleted by the admins or trusted users anyway. ;-)

if you have a closer look. I'm not able to upload stuff after a breakdown of my system. That's a reason why there is not a release by Snap or Aerotics but hopefully my old swapmate rough or in future another guy is able to do.

You are wrong.

People delete entries belonging here.
Ask Perff. Anyway thank you for opening these thread here.
Another user p.m. me about the same request.
In my eyes this is a good way before opening a thread.

Actually, after reading again, a PM would have been the way to go, right. Sorry for bothering.

Just a comment.

If someone locks an entry it is expected that they have some kind of close relation to this entry, and that they update the entry with as much information available, which they wish to publish. (Some might not want their full name, address or whatever in the database)

If someone should wrongfully delete something, we have a backup system that enables us to restore such deleted entries, which we do on request.
