database bug?
strange thing, noticed it with Combat Crazy +7 and Combat Crazy +7H - both entries are correctly credited to Master (released by).
now, if you add new release, and enter "combat crazy" as name, it will (correctly) find those two releases.
BUT - if you just search for it in the regular search, they will NOT get displayed (WTF).
additionally, if you look at the scener entry of Master - its not there either! (WTF)
edit: and it doesnt show on the frontpage either :) |

Easier is not always better. While it seems the best of the worst solutions, it's almost always one or even two steps back.
But hey, I'm not a database designer, I just love clean and reliable data :-) |

We did roll out some of this stuff to get rid of tags in the entry names (ntsc fixes, broken release etc etc). Sure, it would be great to get it all implemented, but we are too few that actually upload, manage, update and take care of the database, and too many that just lurks around, whines and spends time creating dramas, using CSDb as an alterantive Facebook. :/ |

I will fill up the database with releases instead. We have what we have. The One could make the system different/better, but until then we have what we have, and what we have is better than nothing. |
