Problem with the CSDb voting system
What has happened to the CSDb voting system recently? When I try to vote, I get the error message:
"You have followed an external link to vote. THIS IS NOT NICE!"
A few days ago it was all working fine, I've noticed this bug today. |

Probably some tweak to avoid manipualation of votes using calling voting form externally with changed form parameters but I'm not sure as for such things you would have needed to be connected as the user which should give the vote.. so database should be already safe from such hacks?.. perff? |

As far as I can see it works fine now!
If not please state exactly what steps lead to the error.
Some time ago (almost a year ago or something?) I was made aware that there was direct voting-links to entries in CSDb out on the net, meaning that if people clicked these links, they would automaticly vote for something in CSDb. This would of course only work if they had an active login to CSDb, which most of us have due to the login-coockie we get every time we log in, but for people with no CSDb account this would of course not work.
Anyway I thought this was still abusing the system, so I made this little security check. |

And I still find it funny how an entry with e.g. 3 and only 3 10-votes is #1 in the respective chart, being followed by a #2 entry with say 40 9-votes and 3 10 votes. |
