Intro credit for releases?
It seems there are no credits available for intros on releases, such as who coded the intro, made the graphics, the music etc. Intros are a part of the scene, and not having this information seems like a glaring omission.
After all, there are credits available for linking, text, all kinds of things, yet for intros specifically there is nothing.
At best it seems the only way to add credits for an intro in the normal way is to add these credits to the release credits, which can only cause confusion.
So how about proper credits for the work people put into intros, there are many still being freshly produced today and this will probably continue for some time to come.
And thanks for such a great resource ;)
Cheers,

TLR's idea is good, especially because Remember, Nostalgia and HF use intros very often
I would make it like the "[web]" link
just call it "[intro]" |

Could we discuss this a bit more? It would be a great feature! |

Yeah... I encountered this 'problem' too.
Of course, if an intro was released separate from any release, you can have the credits there (and perhaps some link to it?).
But more often the intro is only used in combination and sometimes even once only.
On the other hand, it might make entries terribly complicated and time consuming (although the latter shouldn't be an argument).
So, how should I credit the intro?
[EDIT]
I just add them in 'production notes' now. |

the best option would be to be able to upload intros into csdb, and being able to add a link to the intro thats used in the game. this would solve the gamescreenshot / introscreenshot debate. Also save a lot of time with all the intro credits. Time to upload the crackintros.org stuff to csdbb ;) |

Isn't it common practice anyway to add the intro credits just normally when adding a crack? I mean, it should be logical that adding a music credit for a game crack doesn't mean the game music but the intro tune. |

its ridiculous how unimportant the game credits aspect in this distorted "crackscene" view gets. Sometimes I feel disgust coz of it. Why not just upload the intro, the game is only wasting hdd space anyway.... |

Why add files at all?
If we just add a screenshot and some credits that are not directly ovbious from the screenshot itself, we know enough, don't we?
About CSDB v2.0: it's easy to bitch about a website without giving any ideas. But it's also a bit narrow minded when ppl give all sorts of ideas and the only ones that get attention are the once that just add more clutter to the existing stuff.
In other words: I understand both perspective, but we need to break some patterns to be able to move on...
