Troubling changes to my post

Yesterday I posted a disk of my late brother's artwork titled Shan's Art .

I included this summary:
______________________________________________________________
These few simple drawings were done in the mid-1980s by my brother Shan, who died quite suddenly and unexpectedly in 2010. As I was looking at them again today I decided to send them out for everyone in the hope that a few folks might get a smile or two from his art.

Today I see that the credit for that summary has changed to Ian Coog, a user I've never heard of, with no mention of me. Sure, it's in quotes now, but it still looks like him talking and not me. It's also locked so I can't change it back. When I click on his nick there is no link to send him a PM.

When I started the page I set myself as the maintainer but today, that too had changed. I didn't notice who it was changed to before I changed it back. I wonder whether someone will take it away again?

These things trouble me. All I did was pay a small tribute to my deceased brother and now these things start to crop up and cloud the water. I don't care nearly as much who did them or why as I do about seeing them changed back and then left alone. Someone in authority please advise.

Upside: I was delighted to see my brother added as Scener & Graphician CSW based on his initials, with which he signed some of his work. Thanks and cheers to the person that did that.

Problem was that you put your info in the wrong place (in the scrolltext box, reserved for scrolltexts in demos, not for info about the production). Ian Coog just corrected the entry to follow the standard.

Thanks for the reply. This is the first time I've ever tried to do one. I wish he'd have sent me a PM and let me do it, but at this point I'd just like to see it fixed so the credit for the summary is from me. Any help?

In theory you can copy and paste iAN's posting, re-post it, and iAN's posting could be deleted.

But why?

Having already caused extra work for others by mistake is one thing, everybody makes mistakes. Letting others explain it here to you was alright, too, but now having understood leads to topping that with extra work for moderators for no real reason...?

No one will confuse you and iAN as he used quotation marks and you are the releaser and entry creator and uploader.

Everything about the release is crystal clear as it is right now.
