Burglar - 100% SID Part 2 - Live at X2024
I have just uploaded the mp3 of my X 2024 performance to xparty.net here:
https://xparty.net/static/Burglar_-_100_Percent_SID_Part_2_-_Li..
The tracklist will not be published immediately, I hope it's more fun for you to do some SID hunting first. So you can consider this thread a tracklist compo :)
It contains 33 unique sids.
Happy Hunting! :) |

One of my personal highlights at X2024. Well thought out stuff and I appreciate all the hard work involved in making it.
Thank you, Burglar! |

Quoting JammerCool set! \m/ But what happened with volume in my pieces? ;) thanks! and good question :)
this mp3 is a loudness normalized export from the mixing tool, it is not a direct recording of the actual performance where I compensated for volume differences in real time.
we may also have a video recording tho :)
@raistlin, you now have 1 point :) (I thought the sid was called "More Fun To Compute" though?) |

Enjoying it right now. Inspiring! Although I recognize a few, there's some bangers in there that I haven't heard before and am curious to find out the source to eventually. :) |

I'm with Jammer here. In the beginning the volume is really low and seems to recover until the end.
I would love to have a proper version with a constant high volume if possible? plssssssss? :) |

Just skimming through the MP3, I only recognized 2.5 tunes:
Linus - Datalife Verbatim
Encore - MicroHexagon
and the tune around 53:00 I definitely know. But I can't recall the name and can't find it in the composers dir :/ |

I'm 100% sure about these:
20:40 - LMan - Deep Kiss
24:04 - LMan - Venus Falling
27:30 - Wacek - Acid Flashback
I recognise quite a few more, but will need to do some more HVSC digging to confirm the artists and titles! |

thank you so much Wacek, means a lot to me coming from you :)
also many thanks to others for the great feedback, makes me want to continue \o/
a b2b set with you and Mibri sounds like a very awesome idea, I will need to change my setup quite a bit tho, i'm too restricted right now.
I'm planning to move to ableton tho :)
edit: oh, and since about half is found, shall I publish the full tracklist? |

still 8 sids left to identify, so I'm sharing the year each was released to narrow your search :)
funny fact: 32/33 tunes were released in 2008 or later, Laxity's Jewels is from 1988.
03. [2023] come on ppl, you can find this one
14. [2019] you can find this one too
17. [2011] this one will be very hard to find
20. [2011] pal should know
22. [2012] nobody will find this, maybe @IanCoog if he remembers our discussion on irc about it 10+ years ago
24. [2017] somebody in this thread knows :)
27. [2019] ppl on irc should know, otherwise, hard to find :)
30. [2019] played short, but shouldnt be too hard?
