FOE revival

HI!

Ok. I'm looking to Revive my old group Forces Of Evil (FOE) and could use a few good people to help me with this project.

I myself would focus on SOME code and mostly GFX. I would like to group to be a maximum of 6 members. So you do the math on what you think i'd need. Of coarse I'll need coders, musicians and graphicians, my way just makes it that much easier :)

I would also EXPECT "whomever" to show some previous work. This way I can get a feel of what you can do.

I'd like FOE to be a demo group. Doesn't matter if it's NTSC or PAL because I code or draw with Winvice (so i'm screwed either way, hahaha). FOE, of coz, doesn't have to be 100% demos. I've been toying with the idea of releasing CODERS WORLD again, but simply haven't the time to do it myself, well, unless you all want an issue a year, hahaha.

I already have a current demo in the works, but ya know, I could use help. A LOT actually!! hahaha..

I guess i'd like to have a couple more coders, a couple graphicians and a musician (or 2).

I only ask that LAZY people don't apply. Only because i'm seriously wanting to do some serious works here. I have a lot of ideas for demos and magazines and maybe a couple utilities. I just haven't much time to devote to it anymore, but I get enough time to do what I need. I make time work for me somehow, hahahah.

So please, send me a messy, either on cSDB or through my email (located in my profile).

I hope to hear something from you soon.

I wish you good luck to reach your goal. It's quite difficult nowadays to team up a group.

Yeah..

I somehow feel I'll once again be a one man group, sigh.

I'll probably just release what I have done and be done with it. Maybe make another comeback in 2010 or so..

It was good while it lasted though.

Yeah well i know what you mean. I figured im just going to stick with me and my 'label' being a one man show as well . No big hurt though, I don't mind holding the banner high by myself :-D

heh, I'd join about any group... with certain exeptions ofcource...

I just don't think you'd want to have me in your group.. (because I really can't do more than a bit of gfx and some BASIC... yet =))

Nevertheless, being a one-man-group is better than having members and still feeling like you are a one-man-group. :-)

I'm unsure if I suffer from multiple personalities.

I guess being a 1 man group is ok, although I'd prefer having some others coding or doing some musics. It's really not a lot to ask for, but in today's world, it is. Simply seems as if nobody cares anymore about doing a demo, they'd rather do silly ass, 8+ year old cracks, with pathetic little trainers that we all did back when the game was popular. Go figure.

I'm still going to try though. I won't give it up that quickly. I like the things I release on c64.

I'm an addict.

I think i'd also take some advice.

I've been working on the same thing now for over a month, and could use a some input on what to do with it. Ya know, fresh ideas and the like.

While i've been thinking plotter dycp scroller thingy, I'm not quite sure a 3x40 area is worth the effort (that's 3 chars down by 40 across).

I really think I could use another coder, as I can take care of the artwork and some coding stuff.

It's just a bit hard to come up with a fresh idea concerning code, since my code is like ancient anyway, hahaha..

Nothing wrong with putting an oldschool flavour on ones demos. I wish you all the best with your demo.

The Phantom: Many musicians and graphicians in today's scene are rather "freelance" despite already being in one or more group(s)... I'm sure if you need something specific for a demo there'll be someone happy to provide it.
