Tulip announces the Commodore 64 Mini Game Console

Tulip has announced that together with Ironstone they have created a minigame console, based on the Commodore 64. It is called C64 Direct-to-TV. You can easily hook it up to a TV. Users can play 30 popular C64 games (like Summer Games, Winter Games, World Games and The Seminal California Games).

Expected price is 30 euro. The product should be in the shops in the 2nd half of 2004 in Europe and in the US.

So Oswald you don't? You degrade the real C64 to something like a video cassette player. ;-)

you mean I should watch my demo always till the part Im currently linking ? yeah funny... 3minutes to wait just to see if the 3 byte modify works the way I thought. No way, warp mode rulez =)

But .. but .. that's cheating!

You're not a real scener unless you see your demo realtime for at least 50 times!

(note to self: use emulator to link from now on)

such a device with a flashmem should be released in order to have really fast access to your favouritedemos when youre too drunk to run the real deal. honestly, it has happened to me.

atleast in order to save all the c64s from beer (and cider ;))

Macx: Just make sure to have a fresh copy of Opium/Samar ready in the drive before opening the first beer. Just to be safe.

@Oswald: i am suspecting PTV uses a c64 to link metal dust, hence the rapid development :o)

Tulip announcing the C64 Mini Game Console? Why? What's the point? I think Tulip should return back to the drawing board and think of something else! Ripping a C64 to pieces and converting to a 30 game console is a lame idea.
