Commodore 64 in the movies
While watching Police 'Academy 3: Back in Training' spotted that the control room is run using Commodore 64s. At one point, a monitor goes haywire, and Paper Boy appears, although it appears to be Paper Boy the arcade game, opposed to Paper Boy the Commodore 64 conversion. |

There was some site around which listed c64 appearances in.... was it movies, or was it music videos? Can't remember right now. Goto80 probably knows. |

Quoting The PhantomTV series Futurama has several references for c64-isms..
Benders brain is a "6502", for instance.
There are several c64 references in the series, I just can't name them at this time, but you'll have fun watching the series (or movies) looking for them.
I remember the episode with "car werewolf", in an old castle was a wall portrait with a Bender's forefather Commodore LXIV. |

@LHS - I think the other episode with the "6502" had something to do with an f-ray.. I think the episode is called "Fry and the slurm factory".
I do recall the episode with the werewolf, but can't place a name on it.
I'm a huge fan of Futurama. I've all the episodes and movies and always get a laugh when I watch any of them. |

someone mentioned this topic a few months back on world of spectrum
I was gonna post a site, but seen it's already been mentioned..
it was more funny when they did fake OS screens etc.
or in the UK anyway.. furniture shops had fake plastic cbm monitors and TV's and c64's to show how furniture would look.. texas had them if I recall.
