codebase.c64.org
Hello!
Just wanted to tell you all that the C64 codebase wiki now got a proper URL and can be accessed through:
http://codebase.c64.org/
Enjoy! Greetings to Slaygon for supplying the URL. Now you don't have to remember that old weird URL. ;)
Keep on adding your stuff!

I agree that it will probably happen... that's not the point at all. Don't worry, as I said.. the day the site get fucked up, it will be restored in a flash and access rights restricted... |

I agree to groepaz, but you can query a (graphical) code when saving a page edit, which is what i just implemented for my own wiki. |

kerm1t.. yeah.. thought about that. Will only stop the spam scripts of course, but still.. kinda middle solution.. at least for a while, or something.
Anyway.. Ppl.. Now go back discussing C64 related matters. All these discussions about websites and so on rather than their contents make me a little sick. :) (I am probably guilty to this aswell..) |

btw, how about hosting important materials, like c= hacking, vic article, AAY64, etc ? they dont take up much space, and it would make a nicer knowledge package. |

I second that. It sounds like a great idea.
I originally learned some of the demo programming from The Phantom's assembly coding tutorials disk mag (Coders World), as well as from various resources on the Internet like C64.cz utilities section :)
Maybe the codes from the diskmags, with tutorials, etc should be added to the C64 Codebase Wiki. I am sure it would be helpful to new people/programmers to the scene. ;) |

Yes.. The only "problem" is that I dunno exactly how to handle such material in the best way possible. In one sense I think they should be read only, since it would be a distortion of the original material to have them wiki-editable...
Thoughts? |

Some of the articles also contain error's and bugs, it would be nice to fix them.
also, head over to www.ffd2.com/fridge and grab all the code there.
