Release id #45809 : Bomberman C64

From Skull:

"send to me : okowicki@interia.pl
(nick, score and keycode)

The Best Score : 3,135,700 Kyle (18.02)

DeadLine 28.02.2007
Later... New release! ;-)"

---

Hmm. Somehow this highscore is a bit unbelievable.
My best highscore is 1,621,500. And it was extremely (but really extremely hard) to get it that high.
I know the game very well. I doubt that I missed to kill some monsters.

Anyway, today I will try to surpass Kyles score. :P

Bamu, you must be shit at it... Do you need a hints and tips thread?

oh, and just for the record, I can prove everything and show progression of how I obtained this record ;-)

...its really not that hard when you consider all the bonus points you can get, when you forget about the timer.

... sure, if you use an emulator and can create snapshots everytime you fail.

I know that. I will check it again.

No way. I have tried it now several times and my highscore is always around 1,677,400. Keycode: 0A82-428 1-9907-8984-490B-BA8D-D308-750B-00 (it was extremely hard to get it that high)
I killed ALL monsters, lost all my lifes, found ALL Bonus' and..and..and.
I don't think that I missed something. I cannot find any secret/hidden levels.
To me Kyles higscore is very unrealistic.

What the hell? Are you a magician? Sorry, I don't understand it...

Please, let me be wrong. I don't want to accuse you, but...
... I really hope you are that good as your highscore shows.

As for now I would say (in my point of view) that it is impossible (unrealistic) to get '3,135,700' under normal conditions.

regards, (please, no hard feelings)

Nata/Bamu... I can assure you that it is *real*.

My bro and I played the game non stop for 8 hours when Skull first released it, challenging each other and finding out how to attain such highscores.

Even Skull was surprised, but the code matched the score ;-) If you're really interested in how to do it, first look beyond what is expected of you in each level, then PM me and I'll guide you through.

Anyway, close this thread, I won and thats all there is to it! 8-)

So, what is expected in each level? I don't need a guide :), just give one example.

@skull
would be nice to see the highscore list. I'm interested how bad my highscore is. :))

Hi gays!

Kyle is the winner! (send me yours adress via mail)

The best score is really uncanny, but Kyle's keycode is valid (maybe Kyle has got codegenerator :P).

I think, that each would like to see as Kyle earns points. Could you record it by Vice?

Nata's result is a second, next scores are a lot low.(gratz Nata).

Hehe, I would like to see the Deathmach between Kyle and Nata on Bomberman's multiplayer mode :D.

Thanks for all!

Indeed, this would be funny! :)))

About muliplayer: It's possible to make a multiplayer mode where CPU is the second player?
