A CDTV clone? Or something else? Any idea?

Quote: Afaik it's an Allwinner A20 SoC (Dual-Core 1GHz Cortex-A7) running VICE. I'm unsure if it's x64 or x64sc, and which version it's based on, but x64 v3.1 seems like a safe guess.

Try these on it http://csdb.dk/search/?seinsel=all&search=Box+check

The Sprite one fails on x64.

Glorified emulator. Sucks ass. The DTV is far more interesting, but nothing beats the real old hardware.

I bought one.. nice little ornament and hey, it can play games too..

Look on the bright side..

It will probably make a considerable amount of people feel nostalgic and enjoy some long forgotten games.

It potentially might just spike the interest from a few guys to remember there once was a scene, and look on google to find CSDB

And just very maybe, it will draw some new scene blood.. you never know.. the DTV managed to do it a little too.

so.. YAY!

I must admit that that mini C64 looked very cute on my desk (even with fake keyboard), although I've returned it without regrets.
