Crackers cracking Minigame compo entries
Isn't it just lame eh? Cracking groups releasing C64 entries for the minigame compo. I think it is ever so lame. It appears that fake labels seem to be taking over the cracking scene nowadays. Mainly by Fortress and Lap Dancers.
I think those groups may have either been bored out of their skin, or just wanted to be popular.
I wont let lamer labels do firstreleases of my games because I get sick and tired of these. Take a look at http://www.redesign.sk/tnd64/note.html If they do, I'll make sure those first releases are -removed- from the ftps. |

Ah, if they're not crackers - They're -Lamers- :)
I must be really confused between a cracker and a lamer. I used to think that lamers are those people who steal other people's codes, i.e. in demo parts and credit these as their own.
No matter how much those lamers be firstreleasing games, I will continue to show good support for the C64 and continue making games. Wait for my new minigame compo entry. It wont be anything too special. |

FFS Richard. Shut the fuck up about fake labels. This subject is getting really boring!!
We crack or first release games, according to the quality of the work. If we find that the programs are good enough in quality, we crack 'em on Blazon label, if not then we release them in Lap Dancers.
I noticed you were moaning about your Missile Blasta game being released as Lap Dancers label. Well, we thought we change the credits in the title screen, for a bit of fun. If we offended you changing your name to "DICKHEAD GAYLISS" then, we apologise. In future, no credits will be changed. We'll leave the credits how they are.
Even if we are just intro linking warez, we score bonus points. |

How ironic... Richard Baylis, the man behind some of the lamest and most useless fakelabels now declares that fakelabels aren't allowed to release his games. Should I laugh or cry?
The whole Richard Baylis phenomena is one big fakelabel, and we all know it. There is no way someone could be such a retard in real life. I am sick and tired of this bad soap-opera. There is probably none who have ridiculed and destroyed more for the few serious cracking groups still left than this fakeperson. If he indeed should exist, this only makes the soap even more tragedy-comic.

It never is anything special comming from you. The kind of support you offer is something we could live without. Crawl back under the rock you came from!
By the way, read more about the newbee fakelabels in an upcomming article in the next VN. |

Yes, some very cool text in 'The List' in the coming Vandalism #40.
Regarding protected games, they are still released. About games released by cracker groups - they generally state in their scroll text it is a 'release' or 'intro-link', if no protection removal was performed.

Hmm. VN40 eh? I look forward to that. If I see any news regarding my silly antics in the past and present, I'll just take no notice :) It appears that I have been taking this scene thing too far and too serious, which is not really worth the effort. I shouldn't be put off by other people releasing my work on a fake label.
If I see another Urine, Fortress, Secret, Sealsex or Lap Dancers firstrelease of any new games I make, I'll just ignore it. Even if there are harsh comments about me.
I am 24 year old man, and I should not take these things too seriously and act like a big kid. Especially flaming at many sceners, because it just lands me into a whole lot of trouble. Plus I would lose friends.
Whoever does a first release of Washout on fake label. I won't take any notice. In fact, I think I'll keep off those FTPs and just get on with my own life and Commodore programming.
BTW: Russian Toilette was a fake game of mine :) |

Okay TMR, you heard Taper: time to give it up. No more pretending you're "Richard Baylis". We never fell for it anyway ..
