Looks like someone is going to get a nice Christmas gift for one ancient floppy. ;)

What is most critical is that it lands in the possession of a scener. It is not critical which group restores this. What is important is that this rare original is preserved by the scene. |

Fuck it. I'm going to email the seller with a message to forward on to the winning bidder, linking to this site, and GTW64 and asking for the source to be shared with the group of his/her choice so that it can (hopefully) be completed into a working game. If it was won by a scener, great. However, at that price I fear it may have been purchased by a collector who wants to keep the disk for it's 'unique' value and never even insert it into a working 1541... |

(How long before fake previews/cracks come out pretending to be this game, I wonder...) ;) |

Apologies for three posts in a row. This does not sound promising:

Dear heavystylus,
Hi,
The buyer is aware of the situation regarding the unreleased game and has been monitoring disscussions on the Lemon64 forum.
I would suggest you ask him via those means as he may be able to supply you with some images at least, he may even be a member of that forum.
Best Regards

I'm almost certain of the winner, the guy is a rather well known eBay seller from UK. I know he was bidding against Mayhem ...
Also, it's not important that the game lands in a scene groups hands. There are plenty of non-sceners that can create D64 images. ;)
