Comaland vs Comaland 100%

I still don't get it.

Why does there have to be 2 entries in the top-10 list of Top Demos for Comaland?

Please, why cannot CSDB staff just merge these two entries into one entry?

I still don't get it.

@Groepaz: you've got a point there but you know the urge to be a part of a demo compo. i believe unfinished releases are a very natural part of our scene. otherwise i completely agree with you on that.

Hehe.. voting problems :) Why don't you "voters" just agree on removing your votes for one of those entries and problem solved :).

Great and realistic idea, HCL. :)

Btw, there's only one entry for Dawnfall, although there was a party version and a v1.1 of that. It is possible.

I would say once a demo is released it's finished. Go and make something new. :-P

I adjusted my votes on the two. Set a '0' for Comaland and my '10' for Comaland 100%. See how that fares .... :)

I personally also think its far out that we have multiple versions of the same demo floating. Only on CSDB ...

In hindsight the data model should have had productions and releases as separate entities in a one-to-many relationship. Guess that will be a lot of work to change at this point, and the clean up job would be massive.

Fuck you, iAN CooG! F*A*I*C now officially means Federation Against iAN CooG again. We tried to be nice, but it didn't work.

The top (onefile) demo chart would be more useful by excluding releases older than a year by default. Then both releases would be off the list.

I agree (to whomever) that the only proper solution (to an improper problem btw) is to change the vote given for the in hindsight inferior release.
People should do that for preview/games, tools, demos.
Or not care about ranks.
