64er 6/93 has screenshots of the 10 preselected entries. (uploaded here: http://img514.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pixelprachtzr3.jpg)
64er 9/93 announces the results:
1. "Clown" - Boris Müller
2. "Silver and Stone" - Daniel Kottmair (== Steel and Atone, Deekay/Crest)
3. "Voodoo Queen" - Rudolf Rönsch
4. "Manowar" - Irfan Celik (== Triumpf of Steel, Ivan/Smash Designs)
5. "Fisch" - Karl 'Ogami' Shew (Ogami/Fairlight)
6. "Dragon Wars" - Roland Tögel (Crossbow/Crest)
7. "Dragon Wars" - Irfan Celik (Ivan/Smash Designs)
8. "Delaney's World" - Manuel Rieger
9. "Cyberpunk" - Karl 'Ogami' Shew (Ogami/Fairlight)

I recognise both the fish and the cyberpunk pic from Ogami, no doubt about that. Must have been featured in some graphics-collection or demo from FLT. The fish is one of his later works I think, I recall that he made a couple of asian-inspired pics along with that eagle.
"Silver and Stone" by Deekay was in the TP'93 compo. Atleast one of those Dragon Wars pic was featured in some scene compo somewhere. Can't tell when though? All in all quite nice pics though. Save for that clown, oh my god. |

hehe.... that said, i also added the results for 64'er Demo Competition 3/93 (WoC) ... and i am wondering if the demos associated with 64'er Demo Competition 7/89 werent actually released in the same compo (but didnt make it to top3) .... the latter would mean 3 crest demos in the same compo then =P |

Roland 'Dragon Wars' Tögel is ofcourse Crossbow, that Manual Riegel picture shouldnt be too difficult to isolate either, with such a big Crest logo in it.
And maybe Clown was done by the world famous clown Boris himself.
edit: oh, long live search: Chipsi is Boris Müller. |

mmh well, they share the same name...but neither "boris" nor "müller" is a seldom name ("müller" actually is one of the most wide spread ones) in germany, so that doesnt mean much :) |
