Last Ninja 4 - Graphician needed
Is anyone interested to work on the graphics for last ninja 4?
This game was planned a long time ago by me but still no luck with the gfx because it doesn't belong to my skills. i tried but with no luck ;) If there are any questions about ln4 feel free to ask. |

As usual with these projects, graphicians would probably like to see some basic engine with memorymap, a detailed document on how you are planning to handle the isometry-clipping, proofs of earlier, big projects you have completed before and perhaps a bit more stuff even before jumping on this boat.
Big achievements have been completed before, but even more have been a waste of good energy. |

Agree totally with Twoflower. Just paint some bad and stupid gfx yourself to get the engine working, THEN you ask the gfxisians to shape it up and tell them all the constraints involved (I know they hate those constraints but that's what they're paid for :D) |

What Twoflower & Jackasser said.
Also your scene-CV consists of 3 tune-entries.
I rather hop aboard on such a major project with people who have more experience.

True, but only 3 entrues doesn't say all that much about how good you are. It only says something about how much you've released...
Just wait until Red Brand's next demo is released. It'll wet your panties... ;-) But, if you look at my CV here it seems that I haven't got that much coding experience. Still, I've been coding on the C64 for some years now. Only didn't release that much, because everytime I think something is finished, I think of a better way to do it and recode the whole shit... :-)
Ah well...
Rayne, just show us your work on LN4 so far... |

first and foremost the coder has to have proper skills, there is a lot to do when you do a new LN. gfx+music are the least of your concerns right now.
mrt, I dont see why there would be ppl with unreleased good stuff, but havent shown it. Especially if those have to code a full last ninja game. games like that are *hard* to create and very very timeconsuming to build. |

Plus, I'm not even sure you can use the Last Ninja name. There may be a copyright issue .. |

Yeap, System 3 is going to release the LN series to GBA (or was it the DS) so it's still in the hands of S3.
You can always ask S3 tho...
