Free Spirit Software.. Wow.. been some years since i heard that one. I once saw an ad in Computes Gazzete (or perhaps it was Ahoy, or maybe Compute).. Regardless.. Upon calling "them", it was discovered that the "company" was not even a mile from where I lived in Chicago.
Wrong Way, Habib and myself all walked over and "checked" out the warez.. The place was a residential house. Thought I'd share that...
I have a c-64 program called "Color 80", or at least I'd like to think I do. Should be on one of my .d81's.. I used to use it to draw logos for swings. Not sure who it's by and it's 6kb (looking at it now).
I recently found a lot, A LOT of old demo's and utils. While I'm not entirely sure they're up here on CSDb, they could be. Only problem is I haven't the time to do anything with the collection.
My entire collection of demos, games, utils and weird stuff is currently up to 1.92GB (37,021 files, 538 folders). Probably can't compare to CSDb tho :D This place Rocks!
Anyway.. I don't see Color 80 on here, but it is now :D

doc as thunderbolt said, you need to go on ebay really for most of the c64 things. people have bought from that guy(?) and got what they ordered, so it seems ok to buy from him.
I guess the same could be achieved by porting it from the pc to 128? the crest guys did a demo with 128 that used vdc(?) and if anyone knows how to work that, I'm sure its them =)
perhaps a new mode could be included in project one / timathas (sorry if i spell it wrong, I just know it as "mirage of focus" gfx tool =) )

Is it just me who thinks that some of that seller's stuff is... wonky? The Triad demo pack or a collection of old disk mags at over $10 a pop with postage for example. |

Well, it was more Oxyron who used the VDC in a demo. Check for "Risen from Oblivion"; the gfx-tools are also included IIRC (but don't expect comfort). |
