[JCH] Which NewPlayer has it...

GoatTracker has it. OdinTracker has it. ProTracker has it. So probably does JCH.

The thing of my desire is tone portamento.

Is there a JCH NewPlayer, where tone portamento was implemented? I always use NP 20.G4 - and it's almost perfect player. But sometimes I need to create "Fandrom"-like lead (or better example: http://tiny.pl/m8tx 0:27 - 0:32). And using standard portamentos makes me sick. ;]

Any ideas? I "suspect" one of NewPlayers to have this magic function, but which one can it be?

Greetings,
Sidzio z krainy odleglej

21.G4 has it. Don't remember the command, but you can find it in the documentation.

Why? Because JCH wrote by himself: "Keep this secret!" :>

Do you mean "JCH NewPlayer" as just "JCH Editor"? If so, I may send you keyboard shortcuts and some general rules of using JCH Editor v3.04 + NP20.G4. Actually the editor is very easy to use, only first look at JCH Edit can make you confused.

There is loads of help text in the original JCH Editor release found on www.vibrants.dk. I added the archive to JCH Editor V3.04 20G4.
(although it was updated much later than the first version of the editor)

And in that archive there're documents about the different NewPlayers too (mind you there are several different NewPlayers!).. There's no step by step tutorial though, but if you you load a couple of work tunes, and have the docs in hands reach, you should be able to figure stuff out easily by just having a look and change a couple of bytes here and there.

15_G6_IN.seq
17_G1_IN.seq
19_G1_IN.seq
20_G4_IN.seq

MEMO-V12.seq
MEMO-V14.seq
MEMO-V15.seq
MEMO-V17.seq
MEMO-V18.seq

The documents pertain to the JCH player. All the MEMO'S are 3kb, and the others vary from 3kb to 29kb. Rar'd of all above files is 61kb.
Direct link to the zipped file:

Link is limited on downloads, so if it doesn't work one day, try again the next.

Hope this helps.

PS.. Here's a sample text from 20_G4_IN.seq

I once wrote a doc for latest version of JCHs Editor/Player (not the one by Lxity or so). If someone wants it, just message me your email and I will send it to you. Most of the information is from the docfiles in the archive mentioned here though, even though there are some additional info too.
