PAL and NTSC tags

There is a discussion in the comments of Soulless +3D about tagging [pal/ntsc] in the name. The idea came up to make general flags to tag a release as working PAL only, NTSC only or PAL/NTSC. I personally second this idea.

mostly the mods collect whatever ideas pop up here and there and then put it in there. the problem is not the todo list (or making it) though - its actually getting the stuff done =P

So the mods are doing the to-do list or Perff? who specifically?

what exactly was hard to understand in my answer? if your question is infact who implements the stuff on the todo list: that is and will be perffs job.

Well, not the intention of my email actually, but an obvious assumption of course. :D

Additionally, an idea is to provide a list of upgrades in progress or "to be done" as a common element on the BBS and then show the status (dashboard) or ownership of each aspect of BBS improvement would be great. That way individuals can track their own progress, users can be pointed to it in a positive way and for some it may mean actual progress! This in itself is a task, so maybe a tracker for this tracker? J/K.

Does there exist a list of the "to-do's?" or some kind of tracker? I would like to see it.

PAL/NTSC fixing should be clearly labeled on a release. Only though if there was fixing done. A giant quantity of games produced do not require a fix. In 1992, (NTSC/PAL) was used on a release only if it needed a fix in the first place. This was displayed on a release to show that NTSC fixing was performed on a release. A proud sign.

"Does there exist a list of the "to-do's?""
what? its called the "todo list". look above. its right there, and i doubt perff likes the idea of it being public at all.
