OT: Atari scener Radek Sterba, RASTER / C.P.U. has died
Today I have learned, that Radek Sterba, RASTER / C.P.U. has died. Great man, whom I have know from Forever parties. Wastly creative, witty, but humble man, who will be missed not only by Atari sceners but by everyone who knows the stuff he has created on all Forever parties. Author of entertaining and intelligent demos, intros, graphics, musics, utilities for 8-bit Atari computers who was inspiration for all of us. We even made a special part for him in our latest Dmagic demo. And now he is gone. I'm really sad. ;-(

That's very sad news. :( I heard he contributed a LOT to the Forever parties. I was glad to be there to see him before this tragic event. R.I.P... and deepest condolences to his friends in the Atari scene. |

Conrad, he did some really vitty demos in past and in total, about 140 releases for ATARI. Real multitalent. I hope some of the best stuff will be put on Youtube sometimes in future. On last Forever he did that Atari demo with Michael Jackson dancing on Smooth Criminal (msx,gfx,code). really decent production. |
