FC3 should be quite easy to get and is also the cheapest solution. AR6 can be difficult to get and expensive, so that you should better go for a retro replay if you want something AR like. (slator sold his AR6 on ebay and bought a RR for the money) |

it's really a matter of taste I know people who prefer FC III other AR6. I agree with Mermaid, go get an RR.
I have both (FC III & AR6) and prefer AR6 but have ordered an RR anyway =) |

I use FC2 when on real commy coz I cannot afford anything better... (this fc2 was given to me few yeatrs ago) however in Poland ARs are under 10 euro on auctions, also 1541 can be bought for 5-10 euro (under 15 if in excellent condition + boxed etc) - probably impossible in west europe :) |

Autoboy: simpliest way is to go to a market organized in every satruday / sunday , sometimes wednesday in each bigger town, there are almost always people (BTW mostly illegally ;-) ) selling various old things there , but that depends on city , in Bedzin which is few km from my flat , now it's hard to find antything useful , but I heard that in Wloclawek chances are high (example: working 1571 for E2.5!). many people from Polish scene offer accesories/hardware to sell , and actually best way to buy something is to look on auction - all the time there is about 100 offers on Allegro.pl (have a look here: http://www.allegro.pl/showcat.php?id=340). if you're interested further , then drop me a PM or email me. |
