d64 sort tool
i'm transfering my diskboxes and i'd like to know what windows based tool is best to use for indexing the files in the d64 + copying seperate files from the d64 image to another.
maybe one of you has experience already testing the different tools.

Ok, did some testing with the new warpcopy and everything seems to be a-okay (apart from some strange error messages about an unknown port when exporting a file from c64 to pc).
Anyway, it should be possible to 'put' the warpcopy program in the rr-flash memory right? What would be the best (easiest) way to do so? I played around with the rr when I got it all those years ago but never really managed to do some 'real' stuff with it ;Z |

@TDJ: I guess that unknown port message is produced by your firewall. |

Could be, I'll try switching off Zone Alarm tonight, see what it does.

It is if Graham modifies the finalreplay rom, but I think it's a waste of space on the rom, since you already have a connected PC on the other side, just enter codenet on c64, then send the warpcopy program over. Fe. I have a dedicated .bat file to send and execute the warpcopy server. |

Or use the programflasher option in the flashprogram to put it into the cart permanently (uses one bank though) |

Hmm, this codenet thingy is new to me, thanks for the hint guys.
Edit, from the final replay page:
"Since the ROM has a server for data transfer inside, you need to set an IP address which is useable in your LAN. If your PC has an IP of 192.168.8.64 you should set the IP of the C64 to 192.168.8.64."
This doesn't sound right .. shouldn't the c64 have its own ip address?

I would say : PC: 192.168.0.1
C64: 192.168.0.100
Looks better,or? |
