CSDB on facebook and/or google plus
ok,
my pic Here Be Dragons has recently received additional publicity on facebook on a c64 fan page.
seemingly resulting in a higher than usual ratio of downloads.
PeteD has suggested that we should maybe exploit this extra "fanbase" who it could be assumed do not frequent csdb by creating a CSDB facebook page and maybe a new google one and feed it new release RSS data with pictures so people can be "hooked" by images rather than just text.
in this way the scene may well be able to drum up some new blood and audience.
not a facebook user personally, but, as an advertising designer i do appreciate any advantages we could exploit to gain a bigger "market share".
what do the rest of you think?

btw, you might want to use the "new releases" feed instead of the "recently added" one. right now it is flooded with old cracks :) |

That's what I was waiting for feedback on from subscribers. I had it on new releases then realised that's what I usually read and miss out on new (old) releases so I set it to recently added instead. It does spam a bit sometimes but I think it's worth it and no complaints from anyone else so far. |
