Best SID instrument?
Well, topic kinda says all.
The tune itself doesn't have to be good at all, only the instrument(s). ;)
'Impulse' by Taki has some pretty awesome 16x drums.
And just to make it a bit less complicated to choose instruments: NO SAMPLES.

The guitar of: /MUSICIANS/M/Mueller_Markus/Mechanicus.sid
Though, listening on emulation on this tune doesn't count. :) On a real chip it's a very cool distortion on the guitar. |

Are you talking only about Drums, but also about Synths, like leads, arpeggios and stuff?
