"Huelsbeck was never peaking - in my humble oppinion at least. That doesn't meen that he didn't ever make stuff I liked or as is quite obvious, the publick liked. Seems to me to be quite the opposite, or making an event such as the orcestral iterations of his tunes would be rather pointless."
translation:
Huelsbeck was never peaking - in my humble oppinion at least. Huelsbeck was peaking - in the public's oppinion.

Hey, "Move Your Ass" is a classic.

There, last remaining shred of credibility thrown out the window...I actually quite like Chris Hülsbeck's C64 music, call him overrated as much as you'd like, some of his tunes are still among my favourite C64 tunes. I've met people who thought Jeroen Tel was overrated too, and people who think the SID sounds awful compared to the crisp clear sound of a 48k Spectrum *bleep*. Tastes differ, or to put it another way; some people are just morons with no taste whatsoever, and guess what, you have to live with it :( it sucks, I know! |

I know which of these I think is the better picture. Am I in any position to say that one of these artists is overrated and the other is not? Hmm...
Saying something is overrated is just a fancy way of saying "I wish everyone else's taste was as good as mine". Something I'm guilty of too, I'm sure. |
