You constantly tend to forget how fucking wrong you are, Groepaz. Or leave out the forum, the voting or the comments then.
Unfortunately, today's C64 scene centers around this site, and we can't just avoid it.
Interestingly, when the majority asks for changes which would benefit those who regularly release new products, it seems that only a few selected decides if it is a good choice or not.
We are forced to follow the opinions and choices of people who are not competent in making general social decisions on their own, let alone a judgement for the advancement of a community as a whole.
Why is it so hard to accept that some people don't want to be a part of this at all? |

Thing is, I loved to use it, and I'd love to use it. I was an active contributor for years, I uploaded stuff, I voted, I commented, I suggested gazzilions of changes which were implemented, and improved the usability on the site.
And once again - if you want to be a part of the C64 scene, then you simply can't avoid it.
But lately, it's only a source of frustration for quite some people here. Yes, actually CSDb is my only excuse why I'm not active: I don't want my stuff to end up here. The general atmoshpere on this site is totally demotivating. Believe it or not, heard the same thing from some other people as well. |

There's actually a difference in the ranking between public and private votes on 2nd and 3rd place in the 3 color compo right now, so clearly it matters. :P |

Gotta love how you constantly try to avoid subjects which you can't address reasonably by trying to ridicule the one who brought them up. Way to go, man. Ignorance is bliss. |

Inside we care about the c64 and the scene in ways our minds can not control, CSDB is for me a big part of the c64 scene, without CSDB I would never have known there were this scene still active again. If we had not gone on here and seen these demos with comments and votes and a populated place on the net in 2009 we would maybe never have done a c64 demo again I guess. |
