is anyone going to X who is good with drives? i have a couple that are working but dont seem to be 100%. would be good if someone could take a look at them and maybe show me how to grease them up etc.

Way more than they had I guess. I just had the last of my X "backup beers" today. I know a couple of people who brought more backup and started drinking backup instead of going to the counter because of past X parties when the beer ran out. |

Beer ran out? There was only one X party where that happened and that even was after the compo in 2006 or 2008 iirc. |

I am still waiting for an additional bill from the beer supplier. The counter is now at 4800 bottles and about 800 0.0%. |

I've heard from someone that Rob said demos were surely fake and he questioned them running on a real C64. Was it a token of appreciation via disbelief? I hope so :D Anyone has more insight on this? |

I'd like to hear more details on this as well. :)
This party has clearly liberated him from the boring C64 gaming scene (*cough* L*m*ners *cough*) and he has now seen what the C64 can REALLY do. :)
btw, can someone upload the full interview on youtube? I missed the first 15 minutes due to attending Slajerek's Debugger seminar (which was also cool!) |
